M57 lift to M57 dual mass flywheel
Description
Custom-made single mass flywheel for BMW M57 lift engines mostly found in BMW Z3, Z4, E34, E36, E46 models . In comparison to dual mass factory flywheel, the single mass withstands higher power and torque in custom built engines. Thus, it is mostly for sports and performance cars.
To complete the swap you will need:
– BMW clutch disc 240mm, factory original
– BMW clutch pressure plate
– flex plate from BMW automatic transmission for starter ring to keep and continue the rigidity as standard dual-mass flywheel has
– to ensure reliability and maintain hardness is best to cover the disc with KEVLAR
* bushing for the spigot bearing may need some modifications
CNC Billet, designed with Faro and CAD/CAM software, made of special grade steel.

Not sure if your engine is a ‘pre-lift‘ or ‘lift‘ model. Not to worry, please refer to the last picture and simply measure the distance between these two dwell pins, and that will be your answer.
